THE CHALLENGE
Energy Floors is a great example of where having someone on the ground in Australia really matters.
The floors are interactive technology products that are often used at major events and activations. They need to be transported, installed, tested and connected to screens, software and other technology, often with very little room for error.
When the manufacturer is overseas, the client still expects everything to work on time and someone to be there if something goes wrong.
That is where we come in.
WHAT WE DID
We manage the Australian side of Energy Floors projects, working closely with the manufacturer and the client throughout the process.
We have delivered Energy Floors for major projects including Vivid Sydney, the Sydney Opera House 50th Anniversary celebrations, the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Darling Harbour and Westfield Hurstville, as well as other corporate and brand activations.
For these projects, our team has managed everything from freight and venue coordination through to installation, onsite support and pack-down. We also work directly with the Energy Floors technical team overseas to manage all the software. If there was a technical issue, we could troubleshoot with them remotely while being physically onsite with the client and the equipment.
Our role includes:
- Managing the client relationship in Australia.
- Coordinating freight and logistics.
- Working with venues and local suppliers.
- Managing installation teams and contractors.
- Testing and commissioning the floors.
- Working with the overseas technical team.
- Providing onsite event support.
- Managing pack-down and return logistics.
- Reporting feedback and project outcomes to the manufacturer.
This local support is particularly important for large events where there is no second chance to get the installation right.
