Be kind in a time of hardship & suffering – Here is some positivity to bring hope in such a dark time!

Times like these calls for action, unity & support. We have seen the devastating news, our social media is full of images and tragedy, and for some they have experienced the fires first hand as they have breathed, been in contact with or had to flee the disastrous situations because of the Australian Bush Fires.

Sydney is constantly being filled with smoke, making it hard to see the sites of the beautiful city. The Opera House & Harbour Bridge have been completely blocked out numerous times, just barely peaking through the smoke. The fear people have been through over the past couple months is terrifying as they are warned to stay indoors, some having to face the fires or do their best to evacuate, waiting for the navy ships/ helicopters or just left waiting on the beach as they prepare for the worst.

We have heard the voices of influencers, celebrities and seen their power as they have created brands for themselves and marketed themselves, we have seen companies striving towards a greener and more sustainable future and now it’s time to put all of this talk into action!

It’s hard to see up, find positivity and have hope for a better solution. Celeste Barber has to be the one which stands out the most to us, showing how her influence & the power of social media can come together to raise MILLIONS!! It’s truly incredible!

While some sit back and feel absolutely heartbroken, devastated and completely helpless we are surrounded by what has been the most generous and supportive communities on social media. The kindness we have seen in those donating money, food, water and most importantly their time to go and support the affected communities/ drive supplies down south/ opening up their homes to strangers/ forgetting about making money and offering their Airbnb’s for free.
Their is a kindness, compassion and humility being shown amongst us as humans

We have compiled the most beautiful list to inspire you & give you hope for what the future holds for us as a nation/ for humanity and to bring light to such a hard & difficult time.

This is one of our favourite videos – bring the fun when times are tough. https://www.facebook.com/MangoolaRuralFireBrigade/videos/1460168704133251/

We especially thinking of those who are working around the clock to protect homes, animals, zoos and the natural beauties of Australia, those who are assisting the animals who have been affected & our condolences to the families who have lost their homes and loved ones.

Here is a list of how you can donate/ support those affected in the Bushfires.
